Job Details:
- Job Type: 1099 Contractor (Part-Time to Full-Time based on availability & Experience).
- Pay: $22–$35+ per hour (DOE & project scope).
- Location: Huntsville, AL + up to 60 miles radius (travel pay included).
- Industries: Low Voltage, Structured Cabling, IT Services, Security, A/V, Building Automation.
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation.
- Smartphone.
- Laptop.
- Basic hand tools/Networking Tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with:
- Cat5e/Cat6 cable pulls.
- POS systems & telephone systems.
- VOIP, access points, CCTV, network racks.
- Access control, security, retired LEC technicians.
- Bonus for experience in:
- IT/network support.
- A/V installations.
- Security and building automation systems.
- TV mounting and setup.
- Typical Responsibilities:
- Complete work orders for:
- Trouble tickets.
- New installations.
- Rollouts and upgrades.
- Pull cable (Cat5/Cat6), install POS/phone/network hardware.
- Travel up to 60 miles with mileage/travel pay included.
